Some backstory, I actually wrote the song while at <a href="http://connecticon.org" target="_blank">Connecticon 2012</a>. I basically got the idea, emailed Vince and strongarmed him into making me a quick scratch beat, and then recorded a scratch version of the song in my hotel room during the con with my iphone headphones. I got home, recorded it for real, and it’s now one of the most listened-to things I’ve ever released.</p> <p>I wrote that song probably when the show was at about 4 episodes? Since then, a whole slew of new episodes have come out, and Gravity Falls continues to be incredible. Since then, I’ve gotten to talk with the whole <a href="http://adamwarrock.tumblr.com/post/50592394793/gravity-falls-cosplayers-partying-to-my-gravity" target="_blank">Internet fan community of the show</a>, including contributing  my own bit of geeky fandom in the form of <a href="http://gravityfallsgossiper.com" target="_blank">this podcast</a>, which has since turned into some kind of weird animation/nostalgia show. I also was in LA, and got to <a href="http://instagram.com/p/WAmhfKAe3g/" target="_blank">visit the studio where they make the show</a>.  I’m as huge a fan of Gravity Falls as could be, and my only complaint is that I wish it was on more often.</p> <p>I wrote some new lyrics a while ago (around the episode “Fight Fighters”) and recorded them, while Vince had a chance to improve his scratch beat.
